About me...

I’m Sophie, I’ve worked with the written word for over 15 years as a writer, researcher and copyeditor.

I’ve collaborated with clients from a diverse range of sectors including finance, law and wellbeing.

This breadth of experience allows me to take a more holistic view of a business and understand the challenges involved.

With an inquiring mind that likes to investigate and create, I’ll take the time to really get to know your business and what makes it unique through thorough background research, listening and asking the right questions.

My role is to bridge the gap between your business and your audience with the creative use of words to get your message across and build a more authentic connection. If you need help with your content, I can help.

Examples below include long-term commissions working on a consultancy basis for TheAnswer, a company specialising in media relations and PR, as well as published articles whilst working as Contributing Editor for Jinfo.

Sestini & co

From 2018 to 2022, I produced blog posts for Sestini & Co, a company offering pensions and taxation advice. Topics covered SSAS, inheritance tax, the impact of GDPR and Making Tax Digital.

NWBC

From 2017 to 2021, I created blog posts for the NWBC website. Topics ranged from cyber security to productivity and mental health.

Jinfo

For almost nine years, I worked on a consultancy basis as Contributing Editor for Jinfo, an online publisher of content for those in information-intensive industries, where I was writing and copyediting product reviews, articles and blog posts.

It's been my pleasure to work with Sophie over a number of years, firstly as a member of the writing team at Jinfo and now as a member of TheAnswer team, where she focuses on writing blog posts, articles, case studies and social media posts. Sophie is a great asset for any organisation.
